Shameless Buns & Layunin proudly present: MAGKASAMA (together) A Modern Filipino Market!

There are so many incredible Filipino entrepreneurs, doing amazing things and we at Shameless Buns and Layunin asked ourselves...why isn't there a platform that puts Filipino culture on center stage? How can we celebrate our heritage, by coming together and showcasing our talents? How can we let Vancouver (and beyond) in on how damn cool we all are...? And from these questions, MAGKASAMA was born!

On November 16th, for one special day. Eat, drink, celebrate and discover what modern Filipino culture is all about.

We have 20+ vendors joining us, including: musical and dance performances, DJ sets, apparel, barber demos, hand crafted goods, art displays, tattoo consultations, Filipino inspired cocktails, Filipino inspired beer and of course FOOD...lots of food :)

Layunin will even be taking over one of Shameless Buns sandwiches, so you know things are gonna get crazy ;)

DISH 1: Sarsi Rootbeer Sliders w/ charred jalapeno, ensaladang pipino, pickled shallots, crispy chicharron on ensaimada mini buns by Ensaimada Moment. served with Shameless Buns signature sinigang fries!

DISH 2: Hella- HaloHalo w/ layers of shaved ice, vanilla tapioca pudding, espresso leche flan using Kape Coffee beans, coconut condensed milk ice cream, puffed rice, toasted coconut and finished with coconut molasses
